Warren Pedersen II - Bass Guitar
A Native of the Island of St. Croix (US Virgin Islands) Warren Pedersen II has been involved in music most of his life. Being the son of a musician only influenced his interest in the art even more. From the age of five he started learning the piano and went on to tickle his curiosity throughout the years by learning other instruments.
Warren dabbled with the violin, alto saxophone in middle and high school band, and the guitar. It was at the age of 14 when he finally picked up the electric bass and fell in love. No doubt heavily influenced by observing his bass playing father, Warren learned the instrument rather quickly and began playing bass in bands through his high school years. Warren moved to U.S. in 1996 to attend the Ohio State University and continued to play bass and guitar in bands covering various genres of music from jazz, reggae, R&B to hip hop.
After graduating Warren moved to the Washington D.C. area and became a member of the Bambu Station reggae band (http://www.mtneborecords.com). Warren toured the world with Bambu Station laying down his solid bass foundation on several albums. Warren joined the JohnStone Roots Reggae Band in 2006 and has been keeping the rhythm section tight with drummer Alfred Adams ever since. Warren is also an experienced music producer and has also lent his musical talents to various recordings throughout his career.
