About JohnStone Band

JohnStone has been unleashing its original roots reggae vibes in Washington DC metro, Maryland and Virginia area for several years now. The band has been touring extensively throughout the eastern United States and California areas. With an arsenal of crucial roots-influenced original compositions, complemented by tasteful covers, the band is well-equipped to handle venues of all sorts. JohnStone released its debut album Eyes Open in September 2005 and has won several DC Annual Reggae Music Awards including 'Live On' the 2001 song of the year and 'Shashamane Land' the 2005 Song of the Year. The band's other releases includes "Innocent Children" and "Dub Confidence".
